General Description Salary Range HR Specialist I $23.41 - $31.23 HR Specialist II $25.07 - $33.41 Senior HR Specialist $26.82 - $35.74 The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in advancing Toho's people initiatives and ensuring HR operations run efficiently across the organization. This position supports a wide range of HR functions and projects that align with Toho's strategic goals and commitment to excellence in service, culture, and employee experience. As part of Toho's collaborative HR team, the Specialist contributes to core areas such as: Talent supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee life cycle programs Total Rewards assisting with compensation, benefits, compliance, and well-being initiatives Employee Services strengthening engagement, policy alignment, and workplace culture The Specialist partners closely with team members and leaders to deliver high-quality HR services that reflect integrity, trust, and professionalism. This role requires maintaining strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and demonstrating sound judgment in all HR matters. Additionally, the Specialist is expected to stay informed about evolving HR practices, regulations, and trends ensuring Toho continues to grow as an employer of choice and a values driven organization that invests in its people. Essential Functions Support a variety of Human Resources functions, ensuring efficient operations and alignment with organizational goals. Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and organizational information. Coordinate and support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and communication with applicants. Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process to ensure consistent, positive candidate experience. Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions and compliance with organizational standards. Contribute to job analysis, job description updates, and sourcing strategies that strengthen Toho's talent pipeline. Support HR events, job fairs, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives. Maintain accurate employee records, data, and reports in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Support HR projects, compliance initiatives, and reporting needs, including compensation, benefits, and wellness programs as applicable. Conduct research and compile insights to inform HR decisions and continuous improvement efforts. Stay current on HR best practices, trends, and technologies, embracing opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery. Demonstrate flexibility and collaboration across HR Knowledge Hubs to support evolving departmental and organizational priorities. Perform other related duties as required to support departmental and organizational goals. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience demonstrating the candidate's ability to perform successfully in this position will be considered. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED issued from an approved GED Administrator. Minimum of 2 years' administrative experience, preferably in the human resources setting. Proficient in Word, Excel, organizational charts, and ability to quickly learn Toho's HRIS systems. Must obtain/possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class E Driver's License.
