Concentration in hospitality, sales, communications or recreation. Team player able to foster relationships with Members, guests and fellow employees JOB SUMMARY: The Member Relations Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment for all members, employees, building management and the general public. Must be able to interact with Club members in a positive, courteous and professional manner. This position is directly responsible for revenue growth of member events and member usage through timely and effective member communication. This position should implement and create year round recreational events for adults and children. Ensure the finest level of service and programming is provided to our members and guests. The focus will be to nurture relationships with our members while protecting and strengthening the Club brand. This position is directly responsible for improved member retention and member usage through timely and effective member communication.. This position partners with the membership sales team to ensure all new members get connected into the Club. PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to stand, sit for extended hours and provide tours of the property, highlighting specific points of interest. DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS Interacts with Club Members and potential Club Members in a positive, courteous and professional manner in person, via email and by telephone. Creates and maintains new member onboarding/connection game plan for all new members for the first 12 months of membership. Builds an ongoing collaboration with other Member Relations team members to ensure that unique activities are being protected at each club but overall for consistency of brand. Responsible for being a liaison for Marketing, Membership and all other departments to ensure information is collected in a timely matter to promote activities on property. Develops an annual/quarterly marketing game plan strategy for member events and activities Works with Department heads to develop new ideas and activities for the Members based off of their expressed interests upon enrollment. Ensures their visions are communicated properly to Marketing and assist with growing event demand. Reviews & approves P&L's for all member events and activities to meet the budgeted criteria Tracks and analyzes all River Club events and their financial outcome on a monthly basis comparing to the P&L Provides weekly forecasts of revenue for River Club club events and activities. Works directly with Department Heads and Culinary Team to communicate all necessary items for events to plan menus and activities Handles organization of website updates, upcoming member events, newsletter and club photography Works with the Membership team and meets on a daily basis to discuss upcoming membership tours. Maintain confidentiality of all Member information Present for a variety of departmental events on property to build relationships and assist with questions Promotes The Florida Theatre and Times Union Artist Series Broadway shows/dates and coordinates with Group Sales to block off seats Finalizes and organizes cast parties for Broadway shows Responsible for recruitment of Members for The River Club Gate River Run Assists with answering phones, directing walk-ins and membership questions Take accurate, detailed messages, relay phone calls; respond to Members in a cheerful, upbeat voice. Manage, maintains and executes all guest passes for members. Completes other appropriate assignments made by the The General Manager, Membership Team and VP of Membership Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays. Arrive to work on time. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval. Upon entering the property, arrive in proper attire, crisp, clean and in good repair. Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings. Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
