Known for simplifying the insurance process with tailored plans and expert guidance, they are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Underwriter to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll underwrite and manage a book of business, handle both new submissions and renewals, and provide training and support to Underwriting Assistants. Key Responsibilities Underwrite and grow a profitable portfolio of workers’ compensation business Review due diligence reports, loss control surveys, and historical loss runs Collaborate with internal teams including premium auditors, claims adjusters, and loss control professionals Manage and delegate tasks to Underwriting Assistants on a regular basis Ensure high-quality service levels and underwriting accuracy across the portfolio Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience At least 2 years of direct workers’ compensation underwriting experience Familiarity with large account rating structures, including Large Deductible and Retrospective Rating programs Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on collaboration and mentorship Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range: $75,000 to $100,000 Includes competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
